FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On July 20, Y’s Way Flooring will host a Car Show to benefit the Watertown Area Care Clinic, an organization that provides free healthcare to locals who lack health insurance. The special benefit event will be held at the Y’s Way Flooring showroom at 500 Milford Street in Watertown from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Car owners who plan to enter are invited to begin setting up at 8:30 a.m.
Cars can be entered into the show for $5, with every entrant to receive a complimentary gift bag. Sandwiches and sides will be offered by Big Daddy O’s BBQ, a local, family-owned business that specializes in low-and-slow Southern-style barbecue. Event attendees will be able to arrange for interior upholstery cleaning of their own vehicles for only $25. A raffle will also be held for gift certificates and other prizes.
In 2018 alone, the Watertown Area Cares Clinic (WACC) served more than 1,200 patients at its 415 S. 8th Street location in Watertown. All of the doctors and nurses at WACC are volunteers, helping the group maximize the amount of healthcare it delivers with its resources. Locals who enter or attend the upcoming Ys Way Flooring WACC benefit car show will therefore support an organization that is especially important to the community.
“We’re excited to announce that we will be hosting a special car show to benefit the Watertown Area Cares Clinic on July 20,” said Y’s Way Flooring representative Karen DeNoyer. “Every year, WACC provides much-needed healthcare services to residents who might otherwise be forced to go without them. The dedicated doctors and nurses who volunteer at WACC help ensure that the clinic always makes the most of its resources. Everyone who enters or attends our upcoming benefit is going to help support a particularly important and effective organization.”
The Watertown Area Cares Clinic opened its doors in 2008 with a mission of providing comprehensive medical care to low-income community members without health insurance. The clinic also runs a variety of educational and outreach programs that spread awareness about important issues like weight loss and the management of chronic diseases.
With its medical staff members all serving on a volunteer basis, WACC is especially efficient at delivering healthcare. As such, the upcoming Y’s Way Flooring fundraising event is sure to benefit many community members through its support of the clinic.
